Newborn Oasis takes the following steps to support accessibility on newbornoasis.com.

We review the website for accessibility when pages are added or changed.
We test the website with automated accessibility tools and by navigating it with a keyboard.
We fix the issues we find, starting with the ones that affect visitors most.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) set out how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. They have three levels of conformance, which are Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. Newborn Oasis is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means some parts of the website do not yet fully meet the standard.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following issues and are working to fix them.

Some decorative images, such as flower illustrations, are read aloud by screen readers when they should be skipped.
The background videos on some pages play automatically and do not yet have a pause button. They have no sound.
A few links and buttons are smaller than recommended for tapping on a phone.
Some of the brand colours used for menu links and buttons do not yet have enough contrast against the background.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Newborn Oasis is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers, which are Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. It should also work with the screen readers built into or commonly used with them, including VoiceOver on Mac and iPhone, NVDA and JAWS on Windows, and TalkBack on Android. The website is not designed for Internet Explorer or very old browser versions.

Technical specifications

The accessibility of newbornoasis.com relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA working together in your browser and any assistive technology you use. The website is built on the Wix platform, and some features, such as the cookie banner and the contact form’s spam check, are provided by third parties. We have limited control over their accessibility.

Assessment approach

Newborn Oasis assessed the accessibility of newbornoasis.com in October 2026. We used a self-evaluation that combined automated testing with manual checks of keyboard navigation, forms, images and mobile layout.
